Jake & Lorelle {Engaged}

Apparently I had met Lorelle before… (Neither of us remember it haha)  But we "met" again this night of her engagement shoot!  I met them at the Leo Mol Museum at Assiniboine Park.  A VERY beautiful spot for pictures… But when you're waiting for the "Golden Hour"  the bug are HORRIBLE haha.  Just ask me and Lorelle.  I believe there was something like 18 mosquito bites on my ankles.  And I don't usually attract too many.  Anyways, these two are absolutely adorable together.  They are like your DREAM couple to photograph.  I didn't have to direct them at all, they just were so sweet together, sharing smiles and kisses whenever they wanted.  My job was so easy, I just snapped away and let them do their thing.  Well a few time I did have to make them look at me, haha.  I am super excited to do their wedding NEXT July!   I'm sure they will be even more in love than on this night!  Congratulations to you guys, and I hope your wedding plans are all falling into place!

Payton & Reed {Cake Smash}

Me and Naomi thought it would be fun to do a combined cake smash with these two adorable gingers!  Reed was born the day before Payton, me and Naomi were almost roommates!  (thankfully the nurses kicked her into the surgical ward, so I could have her room…sorry about that lol)  We've often laughed about how tiny Payton is compared to Reed, but sitting them down next to each other for this cake smash there isn't a huge difference anymore.  Reed is much more solid, and he's walking around now.  But Payton MIGHT catch up one day… Not my best technical work here lol, but chasing these two around and trying to snap pictures at the same time was quite the feat.  Even babies get sick of icing and want to crawl away!  I'm pretty sure Naomi had to shove Reed's hand in the cake to make him try it haha.  And I'm pretty sure their favourite part was the bath after the cake!

Sadie Janese {Newborn}

My sister in law had a beautiful baby girl!  Sadie Janese was born 8 days before Payton's first birthday!  She has the best hair I've ever seen on a baby!!

 

The Year of Payton

So Payton's first birthday arrived far too quickly for me!  I know every Mom says that, but it's SO true!  Luckily for me she's still a peanut and I can pretend she's still a baby.  Once she starts walking though I think I will have a breakdown!  They grow up FAR TOO FAST!  I am three months late with doing some one year photos for her… But it doesn't count until she's 2 haha.  But there's an adorable Cake Smash with her and her Birthday Bud Reed coming soon!!

Rhiannon Marie {Newborn}

This wasn't an official "shoot".  But I couldn't pass up putting this little beauty on my blog!  My dear friend Maria and I FINALLY had kids the same age!  And both girls!  We snapped a few pics one morning for a birth announcement.  She is such a little doll!  Look at that little pout!  She and Peanut (Payton) are about 5 months apart, and Rhiannon will probably be walking before she does lol!  Enjoy this little sweetie!

Adrien & Kim {Married - 10.26.13}

Love, love loved the colours of this wedding!  So bright and fun!  It was a bit of a brisk day, if I can remember this far back.  But the wedding party were troopers, and we had a great afternoon!  Adrien and Kim were such a sweet couple, very much in love!  I loved being able to share in their day!

Payton Brooke Bergsma

So I have been more than a little MIA over the past year from my blog.  And this little beauty is the reason!  I took the year "off" to spend time with my newest blessing, Miss Payton.  So I will attempt to share with you a few pics of her in her first year!!  There will be a LOT of photos, but if you know me there are thousands more… so it was hard picking only a few!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

She was the snuggliest little thing ever.  We'd swaddle her up and she'd wriggle her way down into the blankets.  Love how peaceful they are when they're asleep.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Valentine's Day my little beauty got her plagiocephaly helmet.  I might be biased, but I think it made her even cuter!  She was a superstar with it.  She wore it for about three months 23 hrs a day!

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry for a LOOOOONG break!  But i will make up for it in the next few days/weeks with a bunch of new stuff!
