Payton Brooke Bergsma

So I have been more than a little MIA over the past year from my blog.  And this little beauty is the reason!  I took the year "off" to spend time with my newest blessing, Miss Payton.  So I will attempt to share with you a few pics of her in her first year!!  There will be a LOT of photos, but if you know me there are thousands more… so it was hard picking only a few!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

She was the snuggliest little thing ever.  We'd swaddle her up and she'd wriggle her way down into the blankets.  Love how peaceful they are when they're asleep.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Valentine's Day my little beauty got her plagiocephaly helmet.  I might be biased, but I think it made her even cuter!  She was a superstar with it.  She wore it for about three months 23 hrs a day!

 

 

 

 

 

Sorry for a LOOOOONG break!  But i will make up for it in the next few days/weeks with a bunch of new stuff!

Vanderveen Family

These 3 braved the rainy cold Thanksgiving day to grab some quick family photos!  I am so glad that we decided to go out regardless of the weather.  Jenna is a dear friend of mine and Scott is my cousin, so I see a lot of this little family!  Their daughter Jordyn was a trooper!  She smiled the best when I had one of her parents behind me!  

I was worried it was a bit too dark out, but wow did the colors pop!  And let's be honest here, it wasn't really a challenge to take pictures of this good looking family!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Jill Maternity

Another beautiful girlfriend of mine expecting at the same time as me!!  This has already been a year full of babies!  So many of my friends and I have had kids this year and its so exciting to see some of them become first time Mom's!  Jill was always great for visiting when Riley was a baby and with Chase too!  She's been so good with kids for as long as I can remember!!  Jill had her sweet baby girl, Elle Victoria, just 6 days after I had Payton!  (We won't comment on who was due first…)  It makes me smile to think about when we met back at the end of her High School years.  Back than if you would've told us we would have daughters just days apart we probably would've laughed at you.  So now us April Birthday girls, have our own April babies!  Once again these pics are almost 6 months overdue!  We will have to get together soon and look at all the pics!  (I couldn't help adding the one of Finn, he so desperately wanted to be a part of everything!)

Nikki Maternity {Baby #2}

Wow have I been falling behind BIG TIME!  I haven't had many sessions but these next ones are like 6 months old.  I guess that's what happens when babies take over!  These few are of my beautiful friend Nikki, inside and out.  She had a baby girl, Bekka Hope in April.  We stole some shots of this glowing Mom to be a few days before (or maybe THE day before) she had her.  Mr. Jax was quite sweet and clung to Mommy most of the time, that is until we let him loose outside and he slid into a puddle.  Isn't that just what boys do?!  It was an honour as always to photograph her and her family!  It was extra exciting for me and Nikki this time, because we were going to have babies the same age!!  And what do you know we have 2 little girls that I'm sure will be great friends!  So here are your long overdue maternity pics Nik!  Let's get our girls together soon!!

Jenna Maternity

So I twisted my beautiful friend Jenna's arm into letting me snap a few maternity photographs of her.  I really wanted to try some indoor stuff (since I don't ever do it)  And she was more the willing to humour me!  These were taken a few days before her due date, and thankfully we didn't have to wait too much longer to hear the news of their beautiful baby girl, Jordyn!  I need to sneak some photos of that little sweetie soon!  Jenna made my job very very easy!  I'm sure she'll look at these now and be so happy that she's DONE lol!  Thanks for being my model Jenna!

The Vanderveen Family {10.16.12}

Got to take another cousin's family photos today!  My cousin Chad and his beautiful wife, Naomi, with their sweetie pie, Makayla!  She was a pretty good sport about us posing her every which way!  And her Grandpa got her this amazing vintage firetruck!  I need to find me one of these, my son was with us, and I of course had to take his pictures in it as well!  But seriously have you seen a cuter little fire fighter?  I think not!

Thanks for asking me guys!  It's so fun to get out of the house and capture another family!  Even if my son wants to be in all of their family pictures lol!  Thanks for putting up with us!

The Kooiker Family {10.13.12}

I had the pleasure of photographing my cousin Nikki's family again this year!  Their little girl is SO adorable!  But she does not like having to sit still.  Mom managed to get one big smile out of her, and she loved getting to run around!  We didn't get all the beautiful fall colours, but it was a beautiful morning and we got some nice pics of this cute family!

How adorable is that smile!  Oh my goodness what a sweetie! 

Running down the hill is WAY more fun than posing for pictures! 

Thanks again for asking me Nik!  It's so fun to see how much Scarlet has changed since last year!  (although some of those glares still look the same!)
